Q: Is this a non-smoking hotel?

A: Yes. For the comfort of our guests, we do not allow smoking on the hotel premise.

Q: How do I get to the hotel?

A: The hotel is approximately 5 km or 15 minutes by car from the airport and the city center. You can get the Google Map from our CONTACT page. Our butler can arrange for airport transfers, car rental (with or without chauffeur) and tours for you. Simply let us know in advance.

Q: What types of rooms are available in the hotel?

A: We are an all-suite hotel with 5 suite types, ranging from 60 sq.m. 1-bedroom suite to 120 sq.m. 2-bedroom suite. Please visit the SUITE page for more information.

Q: Do the suites have views?

A: All suites face the swimming pool and the river. You can feel at home in understated luxury with garden and river views from your private balcony.

Q: How many people are allowed in a suite?

A: Two persons for one-bedroom suites (1BR). Four persons for two-bedroom suites (2BR).

Q: Is there twin bed in the suites?

A: Our suites is equipped with either king-size (6’) or queen-size (5’) bed.

Q: Do all bathrooms come with bathtubs?

A: We designed our hotel to have shower area as standard for all suite types. We further make it special for the two premium suites, Vorra-Kamol suite and Vorra-Chinda penthouse, to have bathtub in addition to the shower area.

Q: What television channels are available in the rooms?

A: Our hotel has coverage of local and international TV channels. It is also equipped with the latest Apple TV for great entertainment in your suite.

Q: Is there in-room safe box?

A: Yes, a safe box is provided in each bedroom.

Q: Are there minibars in the rooms?

A: Yes.  Minibar is available in all suites.

Q: Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?

A: Yes.  All suites are equipped with hairdryers.

Q: Does the hotel provide a baby cot?

A: Yes. Please inform us in advance and we will arrange it for you.

Q: What facilities are available for children?

A: Children pool is available right next to the main pool.  At The Vorra Bistro, there are special children-favorite menus.

Q: Do you have high-speed wireless Internet access at the hotel?

A: Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel and in all guest rooms.

Q: Is there a fitness center?

A: Yes. We designed our FITNESS CENTER to be small and boutique, to make you feel private. It has a treadmill and bike, with private TVs. It is open 24 hours a day.

Q: Is there a pool?

A: Yes. Our pool will not disappoint you as it is warm enough to swim in during Chiang Mai’s mild winters yet is refreshing on even the hottest April days.

Q: Are pets allowed in the hotel?

A: No, pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Q: Does the hotel have parking space?

A: Yes, parking is available free of charge.

A: Yes, our award-winning restaurant The Vorra Bistro is an innovative Thai and Italian cuisine, with a full view of the river.

Q: Should I book directly with the hotel or other channels?

A: Booking directly with us gives you the best rates. Additionally, it gives us an opportunity to communicate and plan for your holidays including airport transfers, tour, excursion, anniversary, etc.

Q: Can your hotel arrange for tours, spa and massage while we are in Chiang Mai?

A: Yes. The Vorra Travel, which is a company in our group, can arrange for tours, car rental, excursion tickets or anything you need for your trip. Please visit thevorra.com to make your selection and reservation online.

Before You Arrive

Q: Is there any transport service from airport to hotel?

A: Yes.  Simply send email to [email protected] with your flight details.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?

A: A valid credit card is required to check in to the hotel, but guests may use cash or credit card at checkout to settle their bills.

Q: Is my ID or passport required at check in?

A: Yes.  A valid government issued picture ID is required for hotel check-in.

During Your Stay

Q: What is the standard check-in and check-out time of the hotel?

A: Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is noon 12:00 p.m.

Q: Is it possible to check-in earlier?

A: We do our best to offer you early check-in. Please be informed that this cannot be guaranteed as it is based on availability.

Q: Do we provide late check-out service?

A: We allow late check out with half day room charge until 6:00 p.m. depending on availability.

Q: Does your hotel have shuttle service to town or the old city?

A: Yes. We provide complimentary shuttle service to Night Bazaar and Tha Phae Gate 3 times a day. Please inform Butler in advance for reservation.

Q: Can hotel provide special request meals?

A: Yes. Our kitchen and chef can provide special meals such as gluten free, vegan meals, no pork and no lard meals with advance and ample notice.

Q: Do you have on-site laundry service?

A: We offer dry cleaning service. We do not have self-service washing machine on site.

Q: What is the nearest hospital?

A: The nearest hospital is Rajavej Chiangmai Hospital. Other premier hospitals including Bangkok Hospital and Chiang Mai Ram Hospital are about 15 minutes from the hotel.

After Your Stay

Q: Will special rates be offered if we want to return again on our next visit?

A: Yes. We are happy to offer our returning guests special rates. Simply write to [email protected] and let us know your returning dates.

Q: May we request for the same suite for our next visit?

A: Yes, you may request. As it is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed at time of reservation, we will do our best to reserve the requested suite for you.
